So, I have a 1981 GMC C1500. The wiring harness behind the dash apparently had a short and all the wires got hot and melted, some of them melted all the way to the fuse box.
I came across this site thru google as I was trying to find a replacement harness&fusebox.
Would anyone be able to tell me what I might need from this site to replace the burnt wires and box? Or if I'm even in the right place......
thanks in advance and sorry if this doesn't make sense/have enough info.

Sorry to hear about your truck. Painless does not have a harness to directly replace your dash wiring. The only harness we have is the 10205 chassis harness for the entire truck. It is designed for your truck but is not a factory replacement harness. More info is here on our site. I do not know of anyone that has a factory replacement dash harness for your application.
