With help from the bronco community, you can read the forum thread here , Painless Performance®™ set out to create an all new harness for the 1966-1977 early Bronco. After months and months of research and development, a new precedent in classic Bronco wiring has emerged.

• Full Life Time Warranty

• Harness is Entirely Ford Color Coded to Match the Factory Schematics
Only harness on the market that has 100% factory Ford color coded wire.

• Full Weatherproof Design
What makes this harness weatherproof?  For starters the harness is designed around a 20 circuit weatherproof fuseblock custom tailored just for Painless Performance®™.  Then into the body of the harness notice where all splices are sealed with glue yielding weatherproof heatshrink.  With this heatshrink, water penetration is not an issue.  Finally, termination of the harness sections at their respective components is done with either factory style connectors or heatshrinkable crimp-on terminals.

• Includes a Composite Glove Box for Mounting the Main 20 Circuit Weatherproof Fuse Block in the Stock Location.
This replaces that worn out pressed cardboard gem Ford called a glove box.

• Full Color, 80+ Page Instruction Manual with Over 80 Photos, Drawings and Harness Schematics

Click the Instruction Manual link button above to download it for free and check it out yourself.

• 9 Fused Accessory Wires
Pre-wired on Individual Circuits in the Fuse Block Which Allows Each Harness to be Custom Tailored During the Installation or later down the road.  Examples of aftermarket add-ons supported are CB Radio, Day Lighters, Fog Lights... ect.

• Includes 2 Fused Fuse Blocks, a Turn Flasher & Hazard Flasher, and Horn Relay (All Pre-Wired with Fuses, Flashers, and Relay Installed)
You may ask yourself, "Why 2 separate Fuse Blocks?"  This is because the main fuse block is all internally bussed, meaning that one power source powers up an entire half, or side, of the fuse block.  In the case of this Painless Performance®™ harness, the main fuse block only fuses switched power and constant power.

The 3 circuit auxiliary fuse block provides fused power to the GAUGE LIGHTING, RADIO, and also has gives the installer an ACCESSORY WIRE that has power when the Ignition Switch is in the accessory (ACC) position.

• Specific Connections Supported by the Painless Harness Include the Following:
Heater Switch, Wiper Switch, Brake Light Switch, Ignition Switch, Hazard Switch, Headlight Switch, Turn Signal Switch, Dual Fuel Tank Switch, Headlight Dimmer Switch, Wiper Motor, Brake Warning Light, Dash Label Lights, Radio, Gauge Cluster, Cigar. Well, Painless Wiring has outdone them selves with this one. This has been one of the nicest wiring systems I have even put in a Bronco. This kit comes, in my opinion, with about 97% of the most detailed info you can get and with every possible connection/hardware you need. There were a couple of "gray" areas that could have been better detailed that kept me guessing a bit for example the ORIGINAL ignition switch wiring and the steering column splicing details. By trial and error, I got through this and it was all good in the end. When installing this kit guys, TAKE YOUR TIME, dont be in a rush like we all tend to be in. This kit is a step by step process. Be sure to read the booklet ALL the way through page by page with your kit laid out on the floor in front of you while you are reading. It will help you understand it better so you dont make any mistakes or skip any of the steps along the way. If you can read, and know what your colors are, this kit is easy to install. Have fun!!

I had the pleasure of being one of the first to have access to the new Early Bronco harness. This harness completely exemplifies the company name...painless. Everything is labeled perfectly and lands out just right. Congratulations on a great product and you wont be disappointed!

This new harness is the most complete harness available for the 66 -77 Ford Bronco. I had the opportunity to do an install on 77 Ford Bronco and the harness is very easy to read. All the leads are labeled individually and in groups. It may look intimidating at first but after reading the instruction manual and laying out the harness on the floor, it is easy to understand. I have also done 2 installs of the earlier version Ford Bronco harness a few years ago and this new harness takes the cake! It comes complete with a glovebox liner to make the fusebox install alot easier and the color coded schematics is so simple to understand.

This is a briliant harness. Factory colors help to keep any project 'by the book'. The glovebox is a great replacement to the tired old cardboard. Pug and play is the best way to describe the installation. Great product!
