Kick start the whole process with the new PowerStar starters with 160-lbs/ft of torque for guaranteed cranking power every time. Your new PowerStar starter is designed to be a direct replacement for the standard field coil versions. It may be smaller in size and weight but its performance will be equal to or better that the original. This permanent magnet starter will be very durable and have longevity, but can be easily damaged if dropped. Note; the 51101starter is for a 168 tooth flywheel and the 51102 is for the 153 tooth flywheel. The 153 tooth is 12.85” in diameter and the 168 tooth flywheel is 14.125” in diameter.
